A little greasy, and stiff. Couldn't really taste the pepper. I've never had the real thing, so I don't know how far I am from the authentic. But I'd probably have a different flatbread than this one instead.

Too salty! Maybe it's my technique, but every time I salt vegetables to crisp them up, they end up too salty, and this recipe is no exception. Otherwise, it would be a pleasant dish.

<![CDATA[Like most of the breads in this book, this one is half bread flour, so not 100% whole wheat. My dough was a little wetter than it should be, and a little too salty for my taste. I'll try it again, though, and see whether the fault is with the recipe or with the cook. In any case, this made a good pita.

The instructions call for a baking stone and peel—I wish they had offered an alternate method for those of us without this equipment.]]>

A very delicate dressing that would be best on very delicate greens. Not bad, but I was hoping it would be a bit more lemony than it turned out to be.

I thought this was only okay. My husband likes it better than all my other lentil soups. Very simple to make.

Easy to make, and not bad at all. I'm not the hugest fan of white bread anymore, and maybe I would like it better if I were.
