I'm trying to get better at abandoning books, and I'm abandoning this one. It's frustrating—it's a great premise, but it's a long book that takes to the middle before all the pieces are in place and the story really gets going. I'd have enjoyed it if it were half as long, but as it is, I'm just not willing to invest any more time. [ 05.31.07 ]
