This is a gorgeous book.

I wish they had included small pictures of the entire outfit for each close-up (to see the whole effect_ - some of these details are *very* small. And I wish that each section was ordered chronologically so that I could have gained a better sense of movement over the decades. But any fashion or 19th century afficionado will enjoy this. [ 04.13.07 ]
