how to email a website address

1. go to the website you'd like a friend to see
2. click your cursor in the address window of your browser. this should highlight the entire URL. if it doesn't, press your mouse button and drag the cursor until the entire URL is highlighted.
3. click the Edit menu of your browser and select "copy"
4. go to your email application and open a new email
5. place your cursor in the message space and type <
6. go to the Edit menu of your email application and select "paste"
7. type > (the angle brackets are just good form: I believe they make it easier for some email clients to identify the URL)
8. your URL should look something like this: <http://www.rebeccablood.net/>
9. type your message
10. send your email
