.: The Omnivore's Dilemma

» The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals, Michael Pollan Highly recommended.
This is a great book: thoughtful, thought provoking, and well written. Pollan is perhaps the only writer in the world that could make me entertain the thought that I should one day go hunting. Much of the information will be familiar to anyone who follows Pollan's work in the NYTImes. Required reading for anyone who wants to make thoughtful food choices, especially for those people who are tired of being yelled at for eating meat. Highly recommended. [ 05.17.06 ]

Fascinating book. Pollan has a gift for taking complex subjects and making them interesting reading. Have to admit, looking at the menu selections in my work cafeteria, I had a hard time deciding what I could, or should, eat. Hope this information sticks with me for a while! Highly recommend.

I'd love to hear your comments.
