Being a resident of the wet side of Cascadia (or the Pacific Northwest, as it's more commonly known), I was puzzled as to why this would be newsworthy. However if you'd just weathered the winter in Bellingham, which can be particularly damp and cold, this would make perfect sense. We all go a little crazy here when the sun comes out.
