Note that this is a different set of eagles from the ones on Hornby Island in Canada... those eagles were not successful this year. Both eggs were infertile and were discarded by the parents. This particular cam is in Maine.

I realized that when I saw an article about the Hornby Island eagles this weekend. I didn't realize there were so many eaglecams in play.
