The antibiotic properties of honey have bee discussed for a while: specifically Manuka honey which is now twice the price of any other. I think the bacteria gorge on it, then die of diabetes. A theory which I doubt will survive peer-review.

Are there any existing microbiological lab protocols to test honey as an antibiotic against Staph Aureus. If there are can you mail it for me ?
