Is morality a shared evolutionary quality?

» Harvard biologist Marc D. Hauser has a new, big idea: that human beings, no matter what their belief system, all operate from an innate, evolutionarily defined moral grammar. His new book is called Moral Minds and Chapter 1 is available on the Web.

Hello, Rebecca. I'm reading this book, Moral Minds, now. It's just what the doctor ordered. Ever since reading Steven Pinker's The Blank Slate, where I was introduced to the idea that morality is, like language, an innate human instinct which has evolved over eons, I've been wanting to read more. I highly recommend it. Cheers.
